MARR offers free educational programs you can use to teach students about antibiotic resistance and the dangers of misusing antibiotics.
We are funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the content in each of our programs was developed and reviewed by teachers, microbiologists, doctors, and other professionals.
This award-winning, 45-minute interactive program is designed for consumers of all ages to help them better understand antibiotics, antibiotic resistance, and how to use these lifesaving medicines appropriately. With content that is easy to understand, this presentation is proven effective in a variety of settings especially in elementary schools and with younger children. Although the presentation can be utilized for any age audience it is most applicable to grades 1-5.

This program was developed to be taught by an educator or Antibiotic Ambassador during a normal class period, taking 45 min - 1 hour to present including doing the provided student activities.
