MARR Events and Presentations

Thank you teachers! Once again this year, the MARR Coalition participated in the Annual meeting of the Michigan Science Teachers Association March 24-25 in Novi MI. Approximately 1200 teachers attended the conference and there were some great discussions both at the MARR exhibit and during MARR Executive Director Elaine Bailey’s presentation entitled “Antibiotic Stewardship: What should teachers and students know?" Teachers were enthusiastic about using the FREE MARR curriculum for teaching elementary, middle-school and high school students about bacteria and viruses and the public health crisis of antibiotic resistance.

See you again next year, March 2-3 at the Lansing Center and Radisson Hotel.
